It was foggy and overcast in Olympic NP. I wanted to drive up Hurrfcane Hill. Another visitor at the Park Office discouraged me: "I was just up there and did not take one photo. It is foggy!”
But as a photographer, I know that fog and mist can produce dramatic lighting opportunities, so I drove on. As I began my drive, a "spotlight' of sun shone through, revealing fascinating colors and textures. All along the drive, I took many photos (I guess I did not notice that “it was foggy.” :-}
